Star Hopper

Technology has advanced very far in the last 30 years, but our own gaming experience began with large, loud, clunky machines. Many of the games we played as small children on our home computers consisted of low-resolution graphics, basic tonal sound, grid-based movement, and high difficulty. We’ve attempted to emulate some of these limitations in this retro-style program.

We hope Star Hopper will take you back to a simpler time, when computer games in and of themselves seemed like magic to a curious child.

I'm stuck on the yellow level

Bryson, you're the third person to contact us about the yellow level. There is a bit of a difficulty spike there, I guess. It only gets crazier after that level; Aesop's puzzles show no mercy. But here is a hint – don't assume that the angled blocks are only used to redirect laser fields. If you have no other need for them, consider using their solid sides to absorb the laser instead. We hope you figure it out, and thanks for playing!
